welcome back to my blog, where I will write all my activities and my friends in the kitchen, and I will also explain some of the material and learning that I will discuss on my blog as usual, hopefully it will be useful for all of us in the future, and can made learning. and apologize also if there is a mistake - a wrong word because I still have to learn more. Alright we will continue what are our activities today.


on January 29, 2020 precisely Wednesday, as usual because we were in the matter of breakfast we were told to come at 06: 30 wita, after that we were oneline to do the attendance and check grooming, then we returned to the cold kitchen, with our group - each and by chance I was in group II (two), then we were given material by our seniors, (kak reva and kak icha) about Indonesian breakfast and given the task to continue preparing what we did yesterday.


Before that I will explain Indonesian breakfast, what is Indonesian breakfast?


- Indonesian Breakfast is a type of breakfast typical of Indonesia, the type of service
is a typical food from the Indonesian region, the food served is not much
variation in the dish.
Indonesian Breakfast consists of Fresh Juice / Fresh Fruit, Cereals (such as steamed rice,
fried rice, chicken porridge), Egg dishes (such as omelette, Beef eye eggs),
Meat and Poultry (such as chicken satay, fried chicken), and Hot Beverages.


after that we were still assigned to make croissants just like yesterday - each group only made 2 people, and I happened to be mistakenly appointed by my senior to make croissants, and my other friends continued to prepare yesterday for the next day. then I take the ingredients used to make croissants


The following is a recipe for croissants;
After making croissants according to the standard recipe, we are showing about egg dish, before that I will explain first, what is egg dish?

- egg dish is an processed egg that serves as a breakfast dish on the American breakfast and continental breakfast menu.



       A. Boiled Egg

To get the boiled egg maturity level (boiled egg) as desired, can be set from the length of time to boil the eggs.

1. Soft Boilled Egg

Is processed eggs that are boiled for 3-4 minutes. The result is that the yolk is still runny and the white part is rather thick.

2. Medium Boiled Egg

Is processed eggs that are boiled for 4-8 minutes. The result is the yolk is still runny while the egg white part has thickened (solidified).



3. Hard Boiled Egg

Is processed eggs that are boiled for 8-10 minutes. The result is the yolk and egg whites have solidified.

4. Over Cooked

Boil more than 12 minutes. Characteristics on the yellow and white border there is a blue circle.



      B. Poached egg

In making poached eggs, use new eggs because the yolk is still in the middle and the egg whites don't spread.

How to make it: boil the water until boiling at a temperature of 80 ° - 85 ° C, add salt and a little vinegar, then add the ladle soup into the water. Crack the egg into a ladle soup, cook until the egg white hardens 3-5 minutes.



C. Fried Egg

Eggs are fried using a little oil and butter. Based on the appearance of fried egg yolks divided into several types:

1. Sunny Side Up

2 processed eggs are cooked without turning over, the yolk must not break and the yolk must be half cooked but the egg whites must be cooked, the edges of the egg must not be burnt (over cook).

2. Blinded

Is the processed egg of the cow's eye, the yolk is sprayed with oil when frying so the yolk is whitish and not reversed.

3. Over Easy

It is a processed fried egg which is turned over once so the result is half cooked.

4. Turn Over

Is a processed fried egg that is turned 2 times until cooked but not over cook.

D. Scramble Egg

Is a loose beaten egg that is added a little cream and then scrambled, but not until dry. Scramble eggs are usually served on top of the toast to suck the excess liquid.

E. Omelette

It is an egg that is beaten until the whites and yolks are mixed. Then scramble with a little oil or butter on high heat. But the outside must be maintained not to brown. How to make this processed egg folded or shaped like a horn, and there are contents in it such as onions, peppers, sausages, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms. Can also be plain omelette (omelette without contents).
